MotherWork/d is a gesture of gratitude and a vehicle for questioning traditional gender roles, maternal identities, and domestic obligations in the form of a gift. This gift is composed of domestic objects, infused with mother words and sentiments depicting mi experiencia de ser madre. Mother Work/d also exemplifies my values and parenting methods, pero le premite the recipient to use, edit, and supplement the objects as they see fit. The work continues to evolve beyond the original content; recipients have the opportunity to create as well as activate the items.
